Ship Us Your RAM (SUYR)

If you already have compatible memory, you can supply it for use in your new Renderbox system. Under our Ship Us Your RAM service, Renderboxes will receive your RAM, check it for compatibility, install it during the build, and validate the completed system at no additional labour charge.

What does this service include?

To use this service, the RAM supplied must be from our validated list.

  • Type: DDR5 ECC RDIMM
  • Capacities: 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB
  • Speeds: 4800MT/s, 5600MT/s, 6400MT/s

How does this service work?
  1. Configure your system as normal, select Ship Us Your RAM, and complete checkout.
  2. After checkout, Renderboxes will request the RAM to be shipped in and provide shipping instructions.
  3. You ship the RAM to us at your own responsibility and cost (including shipping, packaging, tracking, and transit insurance).
  4. Your order will be held until the RAM is received.
  5. Once received, the RAM is validated and stress-tested for compatibility.
  6. We confirm the outcome with you before the system build proceeds.
What are your responsibilities as the customer?

SUYR is free from the Renderboxes side. We do not charge for compatibility checking, installation, or system validation testing.

However, the customer remains fully responsible for:

  • All shipping costs to Renderboxes
  • Appropriate packaging of the RAM
  • Insurance for transit to Renderboxes
  • All return shipping costs if the RAM is incompatible, faulty, unstable, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for use
  • Insurance for return transit if the RAM needs to be sent back
Warranty and Liability

Your Renderbox system warranty remains fully intact when using Ship Us Your RAM. However, customer-supplied RAM is not covered under the standard Renderboxes warranty.

If supplied RAM is found to be incompatible, unstable, faulty, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for the build, Renderboxes reserves the right not to use it in the system. In that case, the customer will need either to supply compatible replacement RAM or purchase RAM from Renderboxes before assembly can proceed. Any return shipment of unusable RAM, including insured delivery where applicable, will be at the customer’s cost.

What happens if the RAM cannot be used?

If your supplied RAM does not pass compatibility checks or validation testing, Renderboxes will contact you by email with a clear explanation of the issue. This may be because the RAM is incompatible, unstable, faulty, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for the build. You will then be able to either provide compatible replacement RAM or purchase validated RAM from Renderboxes to continue the order.
