RAM is expensive and we are here to help. Over the last six months, memory pricing has moved sharply upwards. In our own purchasing some RAM categories are now 100%+ higher than they were four months ago.

Why is this happening?
Supply is tight, demand is at an all-time high and the wider memory market is under huge pressure. The knock on effect of this is that it has pushed the prices up massively particularly in the kinds of memory used in high-performance workstations.

Why workstations are affected:
High-performance systems rely on specialist, high-capacity DDR5 memory. When pricing shifts this quickly, workstation builds feel it fast — especially when stability, compatibility, and validation matter.
